Rafting
Rafting is an inflated boat, very stable, handled by the paddle by all teammates. The crew of the raft, includes up to 8 participants, who must follow the guide to carry out maneuvers at the same time. Total team sport, it is up to you to paddle to face the waves and rollers.
Rafting is the easiest way to attempt whitewater grades and to discover safely the natural environment.
In the region, we have very nice whitewater tours such as the "Gorge de Daluis", the "Gorges du Verdon" or the famous Vésubie.
You can practice rafting on the Var, the Vésubie, the Verdon, the Tinée and the Roya. In spring, melting snow increases the natural flow of rivers, so that's the best time in the year to experience rafting !
